On the morning of October 19, 2023, Wang Xiaolong, the level II Counselor of the National Development and Reform Commission Department of Social Development, led a team to the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center(hereinafter referred to as “the Institute of Energy”) for investigation. Relevant leaders of Anhui Development and Reform Commission, Hefei Municipal Government Office and Hefei Development and Reform Commission accompanied.

Vice President Hu Haomin gave a brief introduction on the establishment, operation and scientific and technological innovation achievements of the Institute of Energy in recent years.Wang Xiaolong and his party successively inspected neutron activation analysis system, boron neutron capture therapy system and 7T superconducting magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) system, and had on-site communication with front-line researchers to learn more about the work progress of the Institute of Energy in scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation.

The survey team fully affirmed and spoke highly of the achievements made by the Institute of Energy in related fields, and encouraged the Institute to continue to give full play to its own advantages, speed up the achievements transformation, and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the industry.
